Age of Technology

I am so excited.....tonight I have come to a new area of wonderful technology. I am now writing this segment of my blog on my wonderful new laptop!!! Del and I have been pricing,comparing, discussing, talking ourselves out of, pricing, comparing....you get the picture. We finally decided today that I get my laptop. It is a Dell Studio 1537. I am mainly going to be using it for school but am excited to find that I can go wireless at work. It has been so much fun. I already bugged the help desk at work. I told them that I was sorry to bug them with my personal computer stuff but wanted to make sure that I was doing things right. The guy was so awesome and didn't mind helping me one bit. Woohoo.....we'll see how things go.

Our little family also decided to get a new Wii system. I am excited because I splurged and got the Wii Fit. We'll see how "fit" I get. Josh and Adam started this craziness when they mentioned purchasing a Wii together with their cousins. Good idea but I was trying to figure out how they would be doing visitation rights....needless to say, I told Del it would be ok if we went halvsies with them if they wanted one badly enough. Luckily Best Buy had all of our Wii needs available :) Woohoo!! I think they are now going to be saving up for Rock Band. Wish us luck.

Everyone is getting a Wii. First, Ed's three kids have one, then Logan and Emileigh got one and then my girlfriend's daughter has one as well.

It's pretty cool!!

Sooo......

Well, there's no reason to beat around the bush. Some of you already know but our "little" family is going to get a little bigger. We found out last week that we are expecting the last little Price. We knew when we decided to have Seth that we were going to have one more and this time it just took a little longer. Baby Price will make an appearance just before Halloween, Oct 23rd. We are getting excited and for the moment feeling good. We'll see how long that lasts. Can I just tell you how glad I am it is not going to be in November or December. LOL.

My lil' Seth....not so little

Every year I take the little kids to get their birthday pictures done in November and December. Since I wanted to get a new family picture with everyone I decided to wait. My sister Kris and her daughter Dawn are here visiting from Ohio and Dawn wanted to get a few pictures taken of her little boy AJ who is 5 months old. I told her about Kiddie Kandids and thought hey, I should get Seth's done since I don't have a single pic of him on my "kid" shelf other than when he turned 1. Emma was bummed that we didn't get her pic taken but I promised her we would go soon. I'm also looking forward to doing Adam's senior pics for next year as well as Josh's mission (keep your fingers crossed) pics in the next month or two. Anyway, here are the ones of my "not" so lil' guy who is now 2 1/2.....I love how they turned out.

I just have to say, I thank Thee O God for a Prophet!!! For years I have sat back in silent admiration for our dear, loving prophet. I have been inspired and humbled by many of his wonderful teachings. I know that I'm not really supposed to share many of my work experiences but I couldn't help share a wonderful, humorous side of our prophet. Monday night I took a call from Pres Monson, he was looking for one of his secretaries who happened to not be available. He said that he would try again later and that maybe he would take a drive. He joked and even mentioned taking a walk on the boardwalk. I don't know how it happened but all of a sudden he and I were talking about Monopoly and he was quizzing me on the different names on the Monopoly board. I have to admit I must be a lousy Monopoly player, I could only remember a few of the properties. I even cheated a little and tried to google the Monopoly board for help.
