Where has the time flown....

I can't believe we are almost into the middle of December. I have missed posting Thanksgiving, the day after shopping and most importantly, my little Emma's 5th birthday this past Monday. Since I had to work a swing shift, I feel that she got jipped a little bit. Thank goodness for my nephew Daniel having his birthday on the 4th, we went to Cheryl's on Sunday to participate in his Teacher ordination and were also able to share in the day with cake and ice cream for both of the girls. Emma has always been my little cuddlebug and at times even resembles Linus from Peanuts. She has been miserable the past week without her cherished blankie. I even explained that new blankie has been made with just as much love as the original but it is to no avail. She still sneaks into my room, tucks old blankie into new blankie so I won't see and then curls up on my bed. After she falls asleep and I go to move her and old blankie is discovered. This has obviously been very tramatic for her. We'll see how things go. I will have pics to share soon of their "party" time as soon as I get them from Cheryl. In the meantime.....Happy Birthday my cute little redhead!! I love you to pieces!

Sooo......

Well, there's no reason to beat around the bush. Some of you already know but our "little" family is going to get a little bigger. We found out last week that we are expecting the last little Price. We knew when we decided to have Seth that we were going to have one more and this time it just took a little longer. Baby Price will make an appearance just before Halloween, Oct 23rd. We are getting excited and for the moment feeling good. We'll see how long that lasts. Can I just tell you how glad I am it is not going to be in November or December. LOL.

I just have to say, I thank Thee O God for a Prophet!!! For years I have sat back in silent admiration for our dear, loving prophet. I have been inspired and humbled by many of his wonderful teachings. I know that I'm not really supposed to share many of my work experiences but I couldn't help share a wonderful, humorous side of our prophet. Monday night I took a call from Pres Monson, he was looking for one of his secretaries who happened to not be available. He said that he would try again later and that maybe he would take a drive. He joked and even mentioned taking a walk on the boardwalk. I don't know how it happened but all of a sudden he and I were talking about Monopoly and he was quizzing me on the different names on the Monopoly board. I have to admit I must be a lousy Monopoly player, I could only remember a few of the properties. I even cheated a little and tried to google the Monopoly board for help. My lil' Seth....not so little

Every year I take the little kids to get their birthday pictures done in November and December. Since I wanted to get a new family picture with everyone I decided to wait. My sister Kris and her daughter Dawn are here visiting from Ohio and Dawn wanted to get a few pictures taken of her little boy AJ who is 5 months old. I told her about Kiddie Kandids and thought hey, I should get Seth's done since I don't have a single pic of him on my "kid" shelf other than when he turned 1. Emma was bummed that we didn't get her pic taken but I promised her we would go soon. I'm also looking forward to doing Adam's senior pics for next year as well as Josh's mission (keep your fingers crossed) pics in the next month or two. Anyway, here are the ones of my "not" so lil' guy who is now 2 1/2.....I love how they turned out.
